y'all got lap tops?

found some stuff at the MIT flea market including a $10 ibook g4 and a $1 ouya controller. got a 35mm screening of hackers (1995) coming up later today so i figured i'd get in character

just watched lost in translation and i loved it. why is nobody talking about this

is like if someone read plot summaries of Nier Automata and Ex Machina and said "ah yes I wanna make something like this but with more humans and also the US military"

it coulda been a decent action movie if they hadn't tried being deep about it but also it could've been a decent scifi movie if they had leaned into that part more.

there was potential but they kinda just phoned it in and split the difference which made the movie feel very noncommittal
