easily the most hilarious thing about tumblr is that they'd actually managed to claw back a little bit of goodwill. they were supposedly going hands off, tumblr live's contract was up, the usual extremely annoying suspects on staff had largely shut up (hi cyle, jv). sure, it still felt like we were all playing russian roulette vis a vis "which girl is getting her blog pixeled and/or wiped this week", but there was still that Ambiguity where you could blame some nebulous and theoretical moderation algorithm on it. surely staff was doing their best with a broken system, right.
then matt rolls his dumb ass outta bed, absolutely 6 mimosas deep, and decides to get Really personal about the whole thing. just completely blows the lid off the situation like "oh, no, yeah all your suspicions were exactly correct lol". he just could not stop himself. extremely funny (dire)
