Wonder what it's like to have that much money and have the people who made everything you love hate you on a personal level.
it's so easy to get labeled as a Good Billionaire, literally all you have to do is contribute to charity an amount that doesn't affect your lifestyle at all, and hire a publicist and take their advice on when to shut your damn mouth

I suspect that Elon Musk is kinda meant to be the Bad Billionaire, though—that is to say, I think he's deliberately encouraged to say things that the other billionaires wish they could say more openly. He's like the bellwether for fascist trends in capitalism, the person who gets to say things in public like "Boeing's having problems with their planes because of diversity hiring" and shit like that, and he can get away with it because LOL that's wild-child Elon for you
Could literally give away .1% of his net worth to a non-controversial charity like breast cancer awareness and they wouldn't stop writing articles about he cool and good he was for the rest of the year.
But he doesn't want that. He wants another Simpsons cameo and for the Rick and Morty guys to say he's cool.
Even the person who probably had the best shot at becoming a "good billionaire", J. K. Rowling (because if there ever was an ethical way to get a billion, it's "write a hugely popular series of books") fucked it up by getting her brain rotted by transphobia
I've seen enough of Musk and his Twitter crowd to guess that (among other things) he's probably lashing himself onwards with uppers at all times. When he's upset he goes on a whirlwind spree of retweeting and supporting fascist propagandists, because of course they all drool over him reliably...I'm sure he's always miserable and scared but it's very difficult to feel sorry for him
