If you're reading this, you're most likely checking out my profile. Nice to have you!

I'm a software developer based in Québec City, mostly using this Web Page to chat with friends, talk about development from time to time, gush about my current obsessions (currently Final Fantasy XIV), and generally try to spread good vibes!

What I'm currently working on

Mirama, the bullet-dodging adventure game about the end of an era! Inspired by the likes of NieR and Touhou, the game will mix bullet hell elements with puzzles and exploration as you journey through the five WORLD PILLARS. I've been working on this one part-time for the past couple of years, but there's still a long way to go.

Joining me on this adventure are @pedipanol 🎵, @DAKU 🎨 and @ocatg 🎨 !

A boss fight in Costagona, showing off Alexis' impressive jumping dodge rolls

One of the puzzle mechanics found in the Temple of the Precursor. My favorite sprite is in here (the frog)

You can check out progress updates over at the #mirama tag! I try to post a more formal blog about the game's development every two months. :host-joy:

Other stuff you might be interested in

Short stories

From time to time, I wrote short stories! The tag for these is #fiction writing. They tend to be pretty melancholic, and can be read in any order.

This is very much an amateur thing -- especially since English is my second language -- but I put a lot of passion into every single one that makes it on here. Hope you enjoy these!

The original Miracles and Magic

I made this Pico-8 game solo over the summer of 2020, and I enjoyed the experience enough to want to make a full game out of it!

If you want to relive the original, you can forever find it here. Witness its janky, musicless glory!

Alright, that's all I got. Thanks for checking my profile!!!

This might be the result of my having shallow knowledge, but the jump animation makes me think of Link's in Link's Awakening. Which is a thing I love in a game I love, to be clear.

And I love puzzles, and I'm learning to love bullet hells, so this is all very interesting!
