I clicked on this headline to see what the guy said. Like, he's clearly black so I was wondering what sort of racial slur it could be. Is there an asian guy on the England rugby team? Is there some kind of really gnarly South African racism that I'm not aware of? So I looked and saw that the England player in question was Tom Curry, who I'm vaguely aware of since him and his brother are sexy rugby twins. They're white.
This is where I understand not wanting to print slurs in the news, but it does make it hard to judge what's happened. Luckily, some of our less reputable news sources have repeated it. I'll put what he said below the read more, so you can prepare yourself.

...which is certainly rude, but I'm not sure I'd call it a slur?
