BBC Sounds recommended me the Russell T Davies (of Doctor Who) episode of My Sounds a new(?) thing where someone notable picks out an hour of music. In the description it mentioned ABBA, so I was obviously very intrigued. But the ABBA song he picked...
It was Head Over Heels which in my opinion is decent, but it's hardly top tier. But looking over his other picks, and then what he says about his taste, it does make sense.
I think all these tracks actually have something in common, which is that they're all very dramatic, all very heightened, all very high-pitched throughout, all very sad, all very dramatic.
