A low-priority feature request for @staff (low-priority enough that I'm just putting it here instead of anything more official; I'm sure they have plenty of other things to prioritize): A "view source" button or option (maybe under the meatball menu at the top right?) for individual posts, so curious onlookers can peek at the code in all those neat tricksy posts without having to dig through the source of the entire page.

in reply to @djwudi's post:

if your browser has developer tools enabled, you already have a convenient way to dive in to a specific post: right-click on something in the chost and use the inspector! It even lets you change values in CSS (or even the DOM itself, although that's less relevant here) to get a better sense of how the bits and pieces work together.

Oh, definitely! And I do that pretty frequently when I'm trying to puzzle something out. It just struck me that it'd be really handy if there was a post-specific toggle, essentially like the "preview" button when composing, that would flip back and forth between the rendered post and whatever the author wrote. Quick and simple, and wouldn't involve developer tools (as handy as they are) or having to load all of the HTML code for the page into the developer window. Accomplishes the same basic thing, but post-focused rather than page-focused.
