The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has put out an official Spotify playlist for the coronation of King Charles III. I didn't know this was a thing that they did, but they've done a few, for events like the queen's platinum jubilee and the world cup. They've also put out a few other resources like some recipes and a frankly unimpressive dot-to-dot.
I'd say the songs are what you'd expect but I have no idea what this playlist is trying to achieve. I think it's funny that they have Celestial by Ed Sheeran, the Pokémon collab. And I'm very happy to see our Sam Ryder. Anyway watch Grace Jones perform Slave to the Rhythm at the queen's diamond jubilee while hula hooping.
