It sounds like all six episodes will come out at once next Monday, the 18th. The first series had 10 episodes which were released weekly.
The first series was fine, but I didn't expect another one. I'm impressed, since it's so queer, but still surprised. The whole REDACTED part of the title was referencing the plot, which finished. And the cute moment of Cleo meeting the Doctor who had also transitioned from male to female maybe doesn't have the same impact if she meets him again now that he's back to male. Is the Doctor a detransitioner?
Also it doesn't sound like Charlie Craggs' acting has gotten any better. I really admire Juno Dawson, and that she placed a trans actor playing a trans character so centrally in the plot. But Charlie Craggs had never acted before this and it shows. I don't want to be mean, but it really stands out when the rest of the cast are professionals but you're mostly listening to her delivery. Is it just me? I don't feel too bad about this because she's clearly very talented in other areas, but not everyone can act! It's alright to just be good at like two things.
Guest stars: Alexander Armstrong was probably expensive. Always great to hear from Anjli Mohindra, I loved the Sarah Jane Adventures when I was younger. I was going to say they should give her a Big Finish audio drama but apparently they already did, and my childhood crush Tommy Knight is also getting one soon! I probably won't check them out, I've never paid for an audio drama, but it's nice to see it.
