I think it's fun how it can evolve into one of three decently strong Pokémon, basically at random. It's a shame that you usually can't get one until way into a game.



Right this is a bit niche. On Pokémon TCG Live there's a battle pass, and you can get several decks from it. While doing some research I found this page about the most recent battle pass decks. It gives a very convenient list of the cards in each deck you can obtain, and even lets you copy the decklist, so you can import it into Live or the older client, Pokémon Trading Card Game Online. Let's see which game they used to generate the decklists.



So it was just announced in the Pokémon Direct as being a premium product "designed to last a lifetime". It's got a fancy box, fancy damage and status markers, and a roulette-esque randomiser. Coins, as far as I'm aware, are not in vogue with the TCG playing community. The cards are also all in sleeves. All of this screams "Expensive!" to me, but I want to talk about the cards.
