I don't know that I have a dream job. Odd for an engineering major to say (so many of us seem entranced by aerospace and mechatronics), but work is work. Do what's possible within the allotted time, and leave it there.
Not to say that an interesting job holds no allure. The right amount of challenge is appreciated, and even helps the day go by faster. Even better if it has some ethical feel-good meat on the bone.1 Hence my aversion to aerospace and defense. But ultimately, I try not to let what I do for pay become my identity.
Carpentry has always been interesting to me. Perhaps the idea of your work producing physical things for people to use is appealing to a person who's talents skew on the mental side of things. Perhaps one day.
