After a period where all three universities were on strike, Chicago State University and Eastern Illinois University have joined Governors State University and ended their strikes. According to UPI Local 4100, all three faculty groups have won most of their contract demands, although the tentative agreements for any of the three universities are not immediately available. There are some concerns with the EIU tentative agreement that may delay ratification, according to NPR Illinois, but so far as I'm aware CSU and GSU's contracts are likely to be quickly ratified.
All told, Governors State University was on strike for five days; Chicago State University for ten days; and Eastern Illinois University for six days. Despite the ending of these three strikes, Northeastern Illinois University faculty remain likely to strike later this month. I have not seen any public movement between UPI Local 4100 and NEIU there.
