just came across a tiktok comments section full of people who 100% believed that the channel tunnel was made of glass so you could see fish outside (????) and i've never felt smarter in my entire fucking life holy shit

Ok, I was so confused by this post for the opposite reason.

I read it an thought people were saying it IS made of glass, and I was like, "What? Why? That sounds like a terrible plan!" and I had to reread all of this several times before I realized that no, it's not glass, people just expected it to be for some reason.
