extremely every single website having tiny profile pics now, and also so many of them having circular profile pics that cut off furry ears, instead of square once which don't, feels so bad
seeing your funny profile pic is sooooo important for identity.... we used to have like 100x100px profile pics (or bigger!) back on forums, and signatures filled with gifs, and kids now get like...... a 40x40 profile pic on discord and corporate sponsorship borders for them :/ :/ :/
they're so nice and big on cohost. could be bigger, but it makes such a difference already! like they're 64x64 px on the main feed

Not an ad, but one of Pillowfort's premium features let's you have up to 200 avatars that you can change to display alongside each post/comment. Sucks that you have to pay for it and afaik they only support stills, but it's a thing.
