This recipe was originally developed in the secret communist flavor labs of the now-defunct Q3C, the Queer Communist Community Center, Buffalo NY (2017-2021)
the dressing:
3 cloves chopped garlic
1 cup vegannaise
1/4 cup olive oil
3 tbl seasoned gormet rice vinegar
1/2 cup sweet relish
1/4 cup creole mustard
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp tumeric
grind of black pepper
the vegetables:
8 to 10 large russet potatoes, peeled
three big celery stalks, sliced
bunch of dill, chopped
bunch of green onion, sliced
steps:
- so chop the potatoes
- you boil the potatoes until tender
- drain em and let em cool (place the pot in another pot of cold water to cool, if necessary)
- start the sauce; combine the veganaise, oil, and rice vinegar and whisk together
- add the relish, mustard, and spices
- chop the other vegetables
- combine the vegetables and dressing withe the potatoes and mix
