French theorist. I'm reading his Libidinal Economy. I do not recommend it. But I do recommend the transcription of Mark Fisher's last lecture series Post-Capitalist Desire which is what turned me curious towards it, and if you're curious and masochistic like me you might turn towards reading very up-their-own-ass French theorists like this guy. Mark Fisher, David Graeber, much better and more coherent authors (sadly, both recently deceased). This Lyotard, mm... I'm mad that I'm understanding him, and very mad that it's agitating and inspiring me in ways that are probably good?
