lol idc i'm learning a lot, and i'm glad there are solutions to my complex problems that are well-paved! and anymore i kinda think microservices (can still be jvm/spring! should still follow separation of concerns!) or other trends are more a result of social forces in staffing engineers who want agency (a good thing! i want it!) than any specific technical affordance (and i don't think that's a bad reason for them to exist!)
