In theory, when you arrive on cohost you should make a stubby little post with a big pile of tags so that people can find you. But you should also do a nice introductory post so readers have some idea of who's behind the keys. At least that's what I was told. Naturally I froze up for at least an hour while writing this first part, just wondering what to do.

Here's both.

Hi. I'm Lynne, I'm an over-40 (vintage 1981) transfem, survivor of numerous unpleasant things, cptsd haver, creative writer, AI and transhumanist sci-fi enjoyer (and creator), Autism spectrum dweller (the diagnosed in the late 80s and shamed for 30 years kind), somehow simultaneously dumb and loud while also introverted and easily frightened, person with recurring dreams of turning into a seal and escaping into the sea. Probably not an actual fae creature, but if someone could please show me how to switch the magic on that'd be awesome. I've been in the furry fandom since 1998 or so, my main is a gray seal (I'll share art later), and I haven't known what to do with my creative impulses since Livejournal burst into flames so I write stories nobody ever reads. Haven't been on any kind of blogging service since Tumblr 2009 or so and I don't know any of the formatting tricks or line breaks here yet. Looking forward to moving my energy away from birdsite and maybe using the pages function or rotating icons or whatever to express some of the latent plurality (go team osdd) without having to make 5 different accounts for once in our exhausted existence.

Generally I'm just a tired bean who will prattle on about my interests such as automobiles or model airplanes, try to get you to read whatever Korps or Hayven Celestia universe fiction my brain has just heaved into a google document, post relentlessly about how amazing seals are, or share photos of nature or interesting things and also poor quality images of my two rescue cats doing things. Also I play a lot of Destiny 2 and might share screenshots or random game clips of dumb stuff happening.

I've now been at this for almost two hours because I can't go back and proofread it, then give it a clear-head pass and give it to a few people for a quick check before releasing it into the wild.

oh uh she/her it's way too late to work that logically into the post anyway oh god oh fuck uhm sending it
