Question of the Day!
Does your WoL/OC collect anything?
For the longest time, M'rina exchanged arrows with every archer she met. On the field of battle she did not loot the dead, but in friendly exchanges it was done as a mark of respect.
Tactically, it was usually a raw deal for her. She received a lot of fairly common arrows, while hers are fletched with the feathers of Garuda. The shafts are harvested from specially farmed trees by Gridanian botanists, being a botanist herself she chooses her own. The heads are made from many things, depending on the arrow itself, some stone, some bone, some Ishgardian steel. Others loaded with poison, or finely enchanted.
Still though, she did it. Over her years of travel she amassed quite a collection and kept them at home. That collection stayed there until the very end, the journey was long and bloody, and when she landed in Ultima Thule her quiver and her saddle bag were packed with a thousand pointed well-wishes from across Etheirys. It was they who brought down the Endsinger, together.
She still collects them now, and looks forward to discovering what new styles they might use in the land across the sea. Though she takes a special pleasure, a warming joy, from the reactions of the archers who learn that their own arrows pierced the destroyer of stars on the other side of eternity.
