But sometimes you can get shit done.

Today we had to get rid of two bunks of cut-down 2x6 lumber. Mismatched lengths, some with sun damage. A few cracked and otherwise irregular, all used to be rack shelving boards.
Cannot sell them, cannot put it in the store for free. Have to either throw into a dumpster or otherwise "dispose" of it.
Two. Bunks.
Of dimensional 2# & #3 structural pine.
I looked at my manager and said in a joking tone "I'll dispose of it right into my pickup."
He looked straight at me and said "Fine with me, long as it's gone."
I loaded up my ride, and phoned a friend.
In 45 minutes, it was gone.
We are gonna rebuild some floors, fix some walls, and so forth. I'm keeping some and passing the rest to friends and neighbors.
This feels good.
