Unbelievable that it's been six years today since the launch of the Parker Solar Probe, which was probably one of three that really altered the trajectory of my life for the better. Really got treated to a looker for the anniversary!
I didn't plan on being awake for it, being up before six AM on a day off isn't exactly something I'm keen on, but I woke up with about 15 minutes to spare so I just set up for a Backyard Starlink. I backed down from putting the ND filter on the dslr at the last moment because I couldn't see enough through the viewfinder to focus with it on and so my long exposure was just solid white lmao, but the handheld paid off here, if it disagreed a little with trying to focus in the morning. relatable.
