if you just scroll past, they don't have any reason to stop. give them pushback. make sure they know everyone is looking at them with disgust, including their assumed silent majority
if you want a community you are a member of to be a welcoming place for minorities, it is not enough for you to be passively anti-racist. you have to be actively anti-racist. stamp that shit out. make it an unfriendly place for bigots and those lending their support to bigotry.
and as for internal-facing actions: if you feel targeted or like you need speak up to defend yourself or a group you're a member of after reading about minority experiences, fuckin' sit on it. think about why you might feel like you're being aimed at for a while. they don't need to hear about your experience of being in the majority (even if you're Different or you have your own struggles). they're already surrounded by it
