convincing myself that the concept of an "introvert" is a psyop to make people feel like they don't need any social connections. "yeah I don't have any friends and I never hang out with anyone, but it's okay, cause I'm an introvert!"

like, I very much considered myself an introvert when I was younger, and it's funny cause I find that now the whole "recharges energy from being by oneself" thing to just... not be true at all? i was just lonely (and in the closet even to me) and convinced myself/was convinced that that was just a personality type lmao
