I haven't done shit this month - it's been too much time spent between methodology phd writing, setting up for the new semester (my current 'work week' is 'every single day of the week thanks to meetings'). I have a slot coming up to talk about a game prototype and now I'm debating if I should just spend that tidying up one of the existing prototype (like Cloudguides or the cool dungeon maker)
Thinking about the graffiti game and how it's a lot more doable as tokens.
I think the biggest problem is that I always feel cautious about 'gangster' aesthetics in games, because even if I don't do something offensive, Corey and Clay will mock me for being the most innocent dumbass
But yeah, instead of the transparent cards that I can't process well, coins that represent the tags, and have them be cleared away en masse
but yeah, like a map of blocks, where you're controlling territory and turf and holding things a block at a time.
