not really doing microblogvember. but:
personally i just think we should go back to the thing where hours were variable sized over a year. you just had twelve hours from sunrise to sunset, and twelve from sunset to sunrise.
in general i think time should get less precise and more based on astronomy. go back from months to moons. refer to equinoxes and solstices. things of this nature.
people can't handle precise timekeeping anyway. package delivery windows are effectively a day, really. people overrun deadlines, etc.
plus, this will help my job security, as a programmer who has to deal with date/time shit regularly
