but, i think i'm getting better at pretending. attempting to talk about the weather with someone. i think i'm getting my point across at least
this took me like 15 min to write with a dictionary. i tried copying some patterns from my conversational partner, tried combining some phrases with けど and 〜て and から. i hope this is marginally more idiomatic and natural than previous attempts, anyway.
feel free to point out if any of this sounds weird or could otherwise be improved, i suspect my conversational partner may be too polite to tell me
transcript:
「こちらはまだ秋らしくないですけど、暑さが減って、雨が増える。私は暑さが好きじゃないですから、いいと思いますの。」
which, hopefully, translates to:
"Over here, it's not quite fall-like yet, but it's getting less hot and more rainy. I don't like the heat, so I think that's good."
