but i did manage to finish up fishing the feed line for the new breaker panel from the old breaker panel. pulling 3×6mm² (about 10AWG) through several bends is pretty rough.
also terminated the new breaker panel side of things, but forgot to take a picture. only a couple big things left to do for the wiring now, and then i'll be able to make the last push to switch everything over to the new panel. maybe first weekend of november or so, i've got drywall to hang first
At least you have conduits. English houses are STILL wired by chiseling trenches down the wall and then entombing the cable in plaster.
yeah that seems silly, we also cut slots in solid walls, but we put conduit in the slot instead. that way you can at least rewire later if something breaks, or technology changes (like how modern electronics make it much more desirable to have grounding everywhere instead of just wet rooms or w/e)
there shouldn’t even be mains in wet rooms
i’ll say i really despise how ungrounded schuko plugs don’t fit grounded schuko sockets, but you can plug a grounded plug into an ungrounded socket. just evil design
