a "little free electronic library" that's just a big hard drive full of pirated ebooks with some kinda wifi AP setup that takes you to an index page. weatherproof case with instructions listed on it. bolt it to a streetlight or something.
that street gets a lot of pedestrians and cyclists passing through it, i reckon a few people would take a look.
That sounds nice, but I feel like in the increasingly paranoid modern society people might report it to the police, suspecting it to be some sort of attempt to hack their IT devices.
they are free to. that would be part of the fun project
i wouldn't put it right outside my door lol
