it started doing this a while ago. when you put something statistically unlikely in there it will now by default just go "hey i'll assume you meant this instead". which is a stupid idea for a translation website.

it's especially bad for stupid japanese puns like the above. i wrote 私は仮面ライダーより画面ライダーだね, which means "I'm more of a Gamen Rider [screen rider] than a Kamen Rider [mask rider]" and what it decides i meant instead is "I'm more of a Kamen Rider than a Kamen Rider", destroying the pun.

reminds me of other AI shit that conflates 'statistically likely' with 'correct' when, from an information theory perspective, the least statistically likely parts of something are always going to be the most interesting
