so, as usual: anyone got any plans?
at the very least, i'm planning to continue cleaning up the shed. it's been going slow because i still feel kinda sick. well enough to do work, but not particularly motivated to go sit in a cold shed and sort out all the wrenches or whatever.
if i feel up to it, and the weather permits it, i think it's time to start on the table i've been wanting to build. the rough plan is to weld a smallish table out of steel tubing, maybe 60×30 cm (about 2'×1'). wooden top and probably some casters. it'll be useful as a general purpose worktop in the shed (my only other work surface there has a milling machine bolted to it) and i'll figure out a way to mount stuff like a vise, the bench grinder, the lathe i want to buy eventually, etc.
