technically i have one cut left to do for the floor (this weird sliver on the other side of the room) but i wanted a change of pace so i decided to open all the ikea boxes that have been in the house for months and build myself a place to sit.
i'm not sure there's any feeling better than finishing building a couch/bed and then immediately collapsing onto it. the cushions are still a bit lumpy but i suspect it'll sort itself out on its own.
anyway i'd been having a headache all day so after that i decided to call it a day. tomorrow i think i'm gonna go to the city to buy tea, drop by the asian grocery store, and maybe shop for new glasses, and then clean up the boxes and stuff in here. after that it'll be time to work on the central heating.
