found a spot for everything i bought. also discovered some volunteers that look like roses (not pictured). i suspect there's a lot of old rose seeds in the soil from the neighbours' roses (i've found freshly dropped hips as well). i left two of them to see if they end up looking interesting.
i think i wanna build a raised planter for the sage & rosemary (also thyme and some other stuff) eventually but for now i've just put them in pots. along with the welsh onions i started this year, and the lemon balm i had already (like mint, it is too vigorous to go in full soil).
nice to have a bit more colour. there will be more still, later
my yuzu is definitely showing signs of life! there are tiny new shoots!! i was getting pretty worried; everything else in the yard seems to have woken up, just not this one. and i paid a pretty penny for it too, yuzu isn't super hard to get but it is kind of niche
as the picture shows, the old leaves look pretty bad tbh. i was wondering if it was gonna make it.
