i speak 🇬🇧🇳🇱 well, i'm currently learning 🇯🇵, and i can maybe read some other stuff
i am tempted to get into model trains.
problem is, 1) i don't have the space, and 2) i would want weird stuff. like it would be neat to have an NS class 1700. which i doubt anyone sells (update: märklin does, but it's hella expensive), so i'd have to make it myself. which is a lot of work.
and lord knows i don't need any additional projects
or maybe i purged it from my memory after learning it costs four hundred and nineteen euros. that's a bit too much tbh
Out of the blue reply to an older post, but still: there are often second-hand class 1700's floating around at auction sites like Catawiki for much less than the price of a new model.
Also, if space is in an issue, you could always go for N scale or even Z scale, which are much easier to squeeze into small spaces.
good to know, though i'm afraid it will have to wait... a few months after i made this post i bought a house lol. not a lot of spare income to go around
