i want to become mediocre at everything.
i speak 🇬🇧🇳🇱 well, i'm currently learning 🇯🇵, and i can maybe read some other stuff
realtalk tho I think this is the first thing I made? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9v4FHaAOdg immediately useful
oh yeah i've seen all of these (blondihacks is like... 40% of why i got machine tools tbh) but i don't wanna make her beginner projects tbh.
i was kinda thinking machinists's hammer or screw jack... die holder is also a good idea though, although i think i'd get more out of the tap follower for the projects i have lined up
Eh, tap followers a pretty cheap and ubiquitous. I felt like the die holder was a unique enough design in the space. I also made machinist’s jacks too. Extremely satisfying to flick with your thumb to unscrew
Oh for sure. I recommended them because I couldn't think of anything with a higher ease-of-manufacture/usefulness ratio.
I also need to remember that @corhocysen here doesn’t have the kind of access to tools like I have here in the states. Making one probably makes a lot more sense.
