guess i'll do it on here.
- go to lidl and get something nice for sunday lunch
- go to the bookstore that also sells tea and get a new bag of dried ginger
- maybe go to the hardware store? i swear i needed to get something minor but i can't remember what?? i guess i could do with a scotchbrite pad, my current one is kinda used up... but that wasn't it
- finish machining those damn blocks. couple more mill cuts and then i'll try and drill the hole in the middle on the lathe
monday i think i might have a poke at my garden automation plans. the big hurdle has been that i don't feel like doing programming, but i found out Tasmota can bridge to Modbus β which takes away one place i have to implement Modbus myself.
so i think i'll just start running Tasmota on my ESP32, and it should be fairly easy to hook up some sensors directly to it (maybe even a display!). later i'll need to write firmware for the other 'nodes', but honestly the main thing i want right now is to know the temperature in the greenhouse anyway.
