it comes with both major temperature scales, °C and °C! it's a little colder outside than indicated, this was taken just after i took the thermometer from inside the house to put it up.
this was also an experiment in fixing stuff to the wall -- the walls are brick but they added exterior insulation, covered by maybe 5mm (¼") of cement (or exterior plaster or w/e) on metal mesh. it's not very sturdy, but i reckon it should be able to hold a couple kg or so on a drywall anchor.
