i want to become mediocre at everything.
i speak 🇬🇧🇳🇱 well, i'm currently learning 🇯🇵, and i can maybe read some other stuff
the yurucamp ones are a little disappointing. i was hoping for more on the locations featured in the shows but a large part of them just seems to be every single ref sheet for every character and piece of camping gear in the show. the interviews seem interesting but that's a lot of complicated text and i cba sitting down properly to read it right now.
the super cub one is pretty good. it is a "holy pilgrimage touring guide" so it's made for the express purpose of getting weird otaku to go to places from the anime. it has a lot of detail on that, down to "this is the specific offramp koguma takes in this specific shot", plus a bunch of neat supplemental stuff like nice places to eat, a write-up of someone doing the full road trip from the end of the anime, interviews, and even picture guides to performing maintenance on a super cub.
if and when i go to japan i was thinking of going to Hokuto (where super cub is mainly set) anyway, and this is definitely making me want to do that more
my brain sucks and i was too impulsive once again. but oh well. not like this has any real consequences. it's money i was gonna spend anyway, i just wanted to mull it over a bit more first
all in japanese so that should be enough to last me months and months lol
wasn't so bad. need to finish the fiddly little piece for by the bathroom door (the yellow one).
wasn't super precise with some stuff but i reckon it's all close enough that i can cover it up with the baseboards, which is what matters
found out my parents chucked their jigsaw because it broke (it was ancient, i bet i could have fixed it) so i bought a new shitty black and decker one and a laminate blade. it really is the best choice for doing this though
