Would be very interested in figuring out what the item drop rates in Dungeon Travelers 2 look like under the hood, and whether Treasure Hunt stacks additively or multiplicatively, given the now multiple hours I've spent trying and failing to farm one specific item from nothing but groups that contain the enemy that drops it thus far

You're not alone. I spent like 5 hours trying to get this one specific item, with Treasure Hunter and the DLC accessory. And I'm not the only one. Some of the drop rates are very low.
