Friendship/Effort/Victory is a game that wears itself on its sleeve. its exactly what it sounds like, a shonen melodrama ttrpg. if that doesn't appeal to you then you won't like it, not much to say here, its just a good game with a simple concept

Yep, you have a health track for your damage and emotional conditons to buy off Harm. You also have the death box that you can check to immediately heal but you die at the end of battle. I got that idea from Tenra Bansho Zero.
