they're the perfect distance apart for anyone with a longer/triangular head structure to gently rest their head between! so for example, if you're a horse, dragon, longer snouted canid or something with that kinda head, go ahead and do a little rest! ... if you don't mind/are tall enough to rest your head on a 2 meter tall demonex, that is. and don't mind sharp horns close to your eyes
