local queer disaster pack of critters | ΘΔ &
mid 20s

🐲 Posting from one of our favorite places, the local park. There's a nice open field here. Luna and Aster are currently playing tag all over it.

We're tired. Barely a couple days of acting human, and we're tired. Things are a little rocky in here. One of us is having some gender revelations that's got them stressed. Several of the rest of us are struggling figuring out what they want for themselves. It's... It's a mixed situation. We know the answer is to take a step forward, to go for it, but we're afraid. I know we're strong enough to adapt, but we don't want to dive in. As I think Beryl said, "We're good at joking around with the cisheteronormative avoidance of self examination, but we're just as bloody afraid of questioning our own narratives!"

The nights are getting darker again. We can't help but enjoy that. So much in our lives nowadays is joy. Sometimes I think we forget we've only taken some steps towards healing. And that finding ourselves is an active, lifelong task. Right now we're feeling a little lost.
