ππΊ we've been bad at thinking about art recently (despite seeing a ton of very much skilled art last week in pawson (we think r2 came up with that pun but we like it)), but now that we're looking and thinking about things like stylistic elements and wanting to experiment with artstyles and media and aaaaaaaaa
it's extra fun when we compare notes too and we come up with cool different ideas too! luna spends so much time considering physical media and all this cool ideas about how to play with textures! and Alice keeps on thinking about how to use color and shapes and all sorts of cool things to do with digital art!
art is so fucking cool
πΊπ seriously, if y'all have five seconds of free time, look through the #art and #artists on cohosts tags. there's such a radiant mix of styles and topics and skill levels (we love seeing developing artists) on display there, and this is still just the most hairline of a fraction of the art out there. so many ways to communicate a love of the world. you can emulate styles and elements established by artists literal centuries, even millenia ago, or you can look at recent art, the animations and cartoons of these last decades. or some of all of that, all at once. the sandbox is infinite and there is so much you can do to play around in it.
