Hey, I need help. I'm trying to leave my family's home because of abusive circumstances but I don't have a place to stay in mind, and so I'm asking if there's anyone around the Los Angeles area who could take me in. As a transgender type 1 diabetic, I'm in a difficult spot.
I am a digital freelance artist, but I've been unable to work efficiently and my work suffers from facing continuous stress living with an unsupportive and trans-rejecting family. I can't take living here any longer while also paying $600 every month just to be treated like this.
I am poor. I am trans. I require daily meds to survive, and thankfully have my own medical insurance to cover the cost of my own hrt and insulin. I've been able to live thanks to donation posts and art comms alike but things will only change with moving away from my family.
