silly thing just happened. we were gonna listen to one of our bandcamp albums in the web listener, click to start it, and as it's loading in we move to lower the player volume because that album starts loud and our volume was already a little high (and the player volume starts at 100%)
right as we're about to do that, a friendly steam "friend is now playing x game" pops up. right on top of the volume controls, blocking them entirely.
the half second in which we managed to scramble to the pause button just in time to not get hit by a wall of loud was probably one of the first times we were actually happy about this internet being a little unstable. our heart's only now slowing down. that was everyone in headspace screaming in panic all at once.
