someone in one of the discords we're in linked to the favorite pokemon picker, and... well. before we knew it we had a list of our current top 40.
it's honestly a kinda surprising list! considering that none of our previous "this is my favorite" mons even hit the top 40 (audino, froslass, sandslash, lairon, scizor), even if some close seconds kept their spots (primarily maractus and lilligant).... the vibes have changed a lot here. a fair bit more lower-stage mons than we maybe expected too! (also rea is being salty that his fave, mothim, ended up as #41) this list also confirmed once more that yes, we seem to really like grass types too. fun stuff. wonder how all this changes over the next years.
especially since there's also some differences between us in our choices. anna, unsurprisingly, is a bigger fan of gogoat than the rest of us, while violet took one look at clobbopus and immediately adopted it as baby. honestly we can probably all think of our own favorites more or less, but it's almost 3 am and we do not have the brain power left for that.
