We found out we have it a few months ago after eating it fairly regularly for most of our life. we always assumed when people said it tastes like soap they meant a stronger, soapier taste...

we have only really tried it a handful of times this year, and this is part of why we're thinking we might have it too. the taste is special, but we're not 100% on if it's because we have it or we're just unused to it
I'm almost certain I have it. I always detested the taste of cilantro but never thought of it as a soapy taste until I heard someone else describe it that way, and I guess it's a soapy taste. I don't have a better way to describe the nasty taste myself so I guess soapy was the best word for it XD
yeah, we're very much not sure ourselves. part of it is that the first couple times we had it we didn't connect the name to its alternate name coriander, and the first time included us first timing a bunch of other flavors too all at once and even though that one was notably overpowering, we couldn't say for certain. it's a strong taste for us, although manageable and alright when a light seasoning among other strong tastes, and we probably should try it plain to make sure.
