while we are incredibly happy to have any sort of hrt right now, what with shortages so large there are laws being made nationally to try and make stuff more accessible.... this new brand of patches is not playing nice with us aaa. not only is the larger size (about 40 cm2 each) not playing nice, these irritate our skin even more than the old ones could sometimes do and blerghhhhhhhhh they're very not good

Unsure if it would get in the way of absorption, but there are wipes you can get to provide a skin barrier against adhesive. Skin-Prep is a good one. Just not sure if it would also interfere with the whole HRT part of the patch, but maybe worth looking into?
