How does fronting in your system work? Do all headmates pilot the body, only a few, or just one?
๐ for us, fronting is something that tends to jump around a lot. there's usually one of us who does most of the piloting of the body at a time (although we can cofront with two or rarely three of us at a time, and even almost manage to control different parts of the body at the same time- two of our headmates once tried playing foosball against each other and it went surprisingly okay), but who that is tends to shift around. it's surprisingly common for one headmate to start typing a sentence and by the time it is finished, we've switched a couple times. it's rare for someone to front more than maybe 4-5 hours without more than a few moments of someone else jumping into front. our "consciousness" and memories are fortunately continuous and shared, with headmate influence feeling more like a filter applied to memories and such. and of course, there's usually at least a couple headmates having a conversation or putting music on at the brain jukebox at any time.
