for context, we deliberately lean towards a casually she/her technically not boymoding aesthetic in physical space at the moment, partially because chronic eepy and partially because need to do that push into explicitly queer but haven't yet (also being openly non-binary is still an extra can of worms so officially we present as binary transfem)

and in our classes, we're in a really gray zone of being out (our legal name, as some of y'all might know, is quite feminine, and we're absolutely gonna mention it if asked, but we haven't explicitly made any gender statements)

so earlier today, while we were working on something in a group, the person next to us casually dropped a "her computer" while gesturing to us

what made things more fun was when, five minutes later, after asking the lecturer about something, he also dropped the same pronoun reference
