our writing weakness is that we start with at least 500 words of setting up the entire background of the scene in a way that we know is absolute murder on the sense of pacing, but is stuff that we like to think about and makes us happy for the characters and is very much stuff that we could easily rewrite to fit into the actual action of the scene here and there
however, doing that would require us to actually draft our work more than once, and we can't be doing that :3
